COVID-19 Store Information

Our store, goldsmith shop and manufacturing floor will remain open during the current pandemic measures. As of June 11, 2021, we have returned to our regular hours (Mon-Thurs 9:30am-5pm, Friday 9:30am-4pm, Sat 10am-3pm) for in-store shopping, as well as repair pick up and drop off. There with be a limit capacity of two customers at a time, until provincial recommendation change.  

ALL WATCHES REQUIRING BATTERIES OR ADJUSTMENTS WILL BE HELD FOR A 5 DAY QUARANTINE PERIOD BEFORE WORK WILL BE DONE ON THEM IN AN EFFORT TO PREVENT POSSIBLE CROSS-CONTAMINATION.

In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 and to comply with local and federal government regulations, we are practicing the following safety measures:

• Limiting the number of customers in our store to 2 groups, to maintain a 2m separation, as well as encouraging some staff to work from home when possible (No in-store shopping during Lockdowns). 
• Plexiglass dividers between customers and employees.
• Mandatory mask policy for employees dealing with the public, and for all visitors. 
• 4-day quarantine for all watches. There is no way to 100% sanitize a watch, and so as to avoid cross-contamination between customer watches, we will not work on any watches until the end of the quarantine period. This rule also applies to any repairs on fashion jewellery and soft stone jewellery, but does not apply to fine jewellery.
• Disinfecting of goldsmith hands, tools, and surfaces between jobs. 
• Employees who can, have been advised to work from home.
• Surfaces, including door handles, debit machines, and countertops are disinfected after use.
• Push pedal hand sanitizer dispenser has been provided.
• All repairs, custom items, special orders, and cleanings are steamed to high temperature and returned to the customer without handling except by tweezers.
• Our already in shop high powered air ventilation system ensures a fresh air supply.
• Complete online in-stock catalogue and special order catalogue for customers to reduce time shopping in person. 

As always, we continue to provide a safe and friendly environment for staff and visitors and provide on-site repairs and goldsmithing services.
